WINDY'S SUMMER SCHEDULE
Below is a typical daily schedule for public sailing adventures aboard the Tall Ship Windy between June-September. (April and May are abbreviated versions of this) THIS IS MEANT AS A GUIDELINE AND DOES NOT REPRESENT AN ACTUAL EVENT SCHEDULE.

Public Sailing events may be changed/moved because of previously arranged educational cruises, charters, or special event cruises.
Also you may call 312-451-2700 to hear the a recording of the schedule for the upcoming week.
Public Sailing Adventures will begin in April 22, as soon as weather permits, but will operate on a weather-contingent abridged schedule during May and October.

and on another deck a full lightning paced version of our crowd pleasing favorite "Real Pirates" program!
As always one deck is reserved for a quite relaxing non narrated ride! Something for everyone!

Expedition Sails - A 3 hour sail!! New in 2011! On Friday afternoons, join the Captain and Crew of Windy for a long coastline
sail of 3 hours and learn more about Tall Ship Sailing and Chicago's Cityscape and History! For those who want to sail away for more than a short tour, take our longest sail.
Orion, with the Capt and crew will entertain you during this extended voyage. |

Rum Runners
Chicago is known around the world for it's great food, amazing music and of course being the city of
flappers and gangsters in the Roaring 30's. Using ships just like the Windy,
hardened criminals and citizens turned crooks smuggled booze to the "dry" city of Chicago.

Spirit Ships and Haunted Harbors
A rousing sail and story telling adventure that peers
into the dark waters of Great Lakes ghost ships and darker deeds of souls that sailed its shorelines.

Fireworks Cruise! Come join the crew of the Windy for one of the best places to watch Chicago's fireworks,
as Windy's entire deck offers you a great view, and you'll never have to watch them through a window.
Wednesdays until 10-10:15pm, Saturday until 10:40ish

Please note that WINDY is NOT "Handicapped Accessible" as it is considered an adventure activity. Access to the main deck is six stairs with hand rails (sometimes the ship is moving from waves),
no ramps are available.
