WINDY'S SUMMER SCHEDULE

Below is a typical daily schedule for public sailing adventures aboard the Tall Ship Windy between June-September. (April and May are abbreviated versions of this)

THIS IS MEANT AS A GUIDELINE AND DOES NOT REPRESENT AN ACTUAL EVENT SCHEDULE.

Click here to see the ACTUAL calendar/schedule where you may select an event and purchase your tickets. Public Sailing events may be changed/moved because of previously arranged educational cruises, charters, or special event cruises.

Also you may call 312-451-2700 to hear the a recording of the schedule for the upcoming week.

Public Sailing Adventures will begin in April 22, as soon as weather permits, but will operate on a weather-contingent abridged schedule during May and October.

DAILY SAILING Schedule FROM MEMORIAL DAY THROUGH SEPTEMBER 30 Subject to change without notice
10:30am-11:30am	"Aaarghitecture" Cruise Our ships double feature! On one deck the amazing history of our skyline's architecture with a distinctive maritime flair, and on another deck a full lightning paced version of our crowd pleasing favorite "Real Pirates" program! As always one deck is reserved for a quite relaxing non narrated ride! Something for everyone! 60 minutes
11:45am-1:00pm	Real Pirates of the Inland Seas. True Stories of piracy and seafaring morality on the Great Lakes! 75 minutes
1:30pm-2:45pm Sat - Thur	Sailor's Paradise- The Life of Tall Ship Sailor What did it take to survive and thrive out here in the Great Lakes as a sailor? It was a wild life of adventure! Great Lakes sailors knew how to build a life for themselves, independent and courageous, they turned these waters into a "Sailor's Paradise" Come find out why.
1:30pm-4:30pm Friday Only June 24-Aug 26	Expedition Sails - A 3 hour sail!! New in 2011! On Friday afternoons, join the Captain and Crew of Windy for a long coastline sail of 3 hours and learn more about Tall Ship Sailing and Chicago's Cityscape and History! For those who want to sail away for more than a short tour, take our longest sail. Orion, with the Capt and crew will entertain you during this extended voyage.
3:15pm-4:30pm Sat - Thur	Guardian of the Harbor - Our Chicago Harbor Light House Sail New in 2011! Chicago's Harbor Light is iconic! Hear its story as well as delight in stories of adventure, bravery, tragedy and triumph of Lake Michigan's Keepers of the Light.
5:30pm-6:45pm	Real Pirates of the Inland Seas True Stories of piracy and seafaring morality on the Great Lakes! 75 minutes
7:15pm-8:30pm	Rum Runners Chicago is known around the world for it's great food, amazing music and of course being the city of flappers and gangsters in the Roaring 30's. Using ships just like the Windy, hardened criminals and citizens turned crooks smuggled booze to the "dry" city of Chicago.
9:00pm-10:15pm Mon,Tue,Thu,Fri,Sun	Spirit Ships and Haunted Harbors A rousing sail and story telling adventure that peers into the dark waters of Great Lakes ghost ships and darker deeds of souls that sailed its shorelines.
9:00pm-10:15pm Wednesday and Saturday	Fireworks Cruise! Come join the crew of the Windy for one of the best places to watch Chicago's fireworks, as Windy's entire deck offers you a great view, and you'll never have to watch them through a window. Wednesdays until 10-10:15pm, Saturday until 10:40ish
RATES AND RESERVATIONS

Please note that WINDY is NOT "Handicapped Accessible" as it is considered an adventure activity. Access to the main deck is six stairs with hand rails (sometimes the ship is moving from waves), no ramps are available.
