The WINDY is a 148 foot traditional four masted gaff topsail schooner/Tall Ship. Built of modern materials, but like the old trading schooners and sail training ships, the WINDY has all the character and charm of the great Age of Sail.

We are proud to bring you new and exciting Educational Programs, creative and inspiring Tall Ship adventures each day and evening. Sample our signature tour-- "Real Pirates of the Inland Seas", which takes you on a voyage of discovery about how pirates plied the Great Lakes, and the daring folks who defended our shores! Cruise our pages for many new seafaring adventures and special events, all departing from our home base on Chicago's best loved tourist destination, Navy Pier!

The WINDY fully meets all appropriate United States Coast Guard regulations. Windy can accommodate up to 150 passengers.
