The Tall Ship Windy is proud to bring you exciting programs that are educational, creative and inspiring. From our daily story telling adventures (six sailings per day), to field trips for our students, to our underway concert sails, there is something for everyone! Cruise our web pages for details on our seafaring adventures and special events, all departing from our home base on Chicago's best loved tourist destination, Navy Pier!

The Tall Ship Windy is a 148 foot traditional four masted gaff topsail schooner/Tall Ship. Designed in the tradition of 19th Century schooners, but built of modern materials, the Tall Ship Windy has all the character and charm of the great Age of Sail. She is silently pushed by the winds once her sails are set and engine turned off. Tall Ship Windy can accommodate up to 150 passengers.

You are invited to join our mailing list, to get the latest info on new special events!

Also, did you know we have a volunteer crew program? Ask the crew about it while you are sailing with us.
